There is going to be another MPV entry in the Indian car market; two companies are going to make this car together. The names of these companies are Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Motors. According to the officially released information, this car, which is going to be launched under the name Maruti Engage, will be manufactured in Maruti Suzuki’s factory, and sales will also be done through Maruti’s showroom. According to the things that have come to light about Maruti Engage, it can be launched in two different variants: Alpha and Alpha Plus. Any information about this will be shared officially soon. The features found in the car are also going to be very special, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, powered Ottoman seats, dual-zone climate control, a power tailgate, ventilated front seats, TPMS, six airbags, and ADAS.
For safety, an anti-lock braking system with airbag, seat belt, seat belt reminder, overspeed alarm, ABS, child safety locks, parking sensor, passenger side rear mirror view, and camera can be provided. These are the qualities that all the vehicles launched today come with.
According to the information received about the specifications given in the Maruti Engage, a 2.0-liter petrol engine can be found in the car, and it is capable of giving 172 bhp power and 188 Nm peak torque. If an electric motor is given in it, then it can have the capacity to deliver 110 bhp of power and 206 nm of torque. On the other hand, it is being speculated about the transmission that an e-CVT facility can be given in place of a manual.
The price can be estimated by looking at the features offered in the Maruti Engage; according to experts, this car can be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 25.20 lakh, although it has yet to be officially confirmed.
